In celebration of Old Scholars’ Week members of the St Peter’s College community are invited to join Elisabeth Bramford, School Archivist, the Student Historical Society and old scholars on an enchanting journey through time with History Unlocked: School Heritage Walk.

St Peter’s College is a school with a rich history and longstanding traditions. Founded in 1847, just 11 years after South Australia was established, our Founders demonstrated incredible foresight to create the Anglican Church of Australia Collegiate School of St Peter, Sancti Petri Schola Collegiata (SPSC). Opening its doors on 15 July 1847, the School welcomed its inaugural 11 students and one teacher to a small red brick school room situated behind the Holy Trinity Church on North Terrace.

Discover more about the School’s history and journey through key historical buildings including Big School Room, Old School House, the Chapel, Memorial Hall and the Memorial Arch. St Peter’s Old Collegains’ Association is proud to be hosting this special event to celebrate Old Scholars’ Week and we welcome all members of the St Peter’s College community.

The event concludes with morning tea and the opportunity to share stories and reflections with old scholars.
